Xpress Money Launches App for OFWs

Xpress Money has launched an iPhone app that allows overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to track their remittances.
The app, which is available on the Apple App Store, also enables OFWs to find money transfer agents in their area, calculate fees and charges they would pay per transaction and access the latest currency exchange rates.
They can also track their money transfer using a 16-digit PIN, while their families, who will receive the money, can also get information about the status of the remittances.
“It has always been Xpress Money’s priority to develop new and exciting ways of providing more convenient product platforms that elevate our customers’ unique experience with brand. The launch of our exciting new iPhone App is a key part of this strategy. We believe it will greatly enhance the convenience of money transfers for our customers and will further strengthen brand loyalty,” Sudhesh Giriyan, Head – Xpress Money Business, said in a statement.
Xpress Money’s iPhone app is launched just a few months before Christmas, when most OFWs send money to their families back home.
“Filipinos across the world are very tech savvy, and we thought why not leverage our brand on a platform that our customers are so well versed with. The application apart from convenience, also offers security to our loyal customers; it will go a long way in assuring them that the money they worked hard for, is delivered on time and to the correct recipient,” Joel Candy, Regional Vice President of Business Development for Asia Pacific, said.
Xpress Money is a global money transfer brand with 135,000 agent locations in more than 125 countries.
